Reactec Release Notification - September 2024

Reactec continue their roadmap of system improvements and enhancement. Our latest release to the Reactec Analytics software and device firmware has the following improvements which we believe may be of benefit to you.

Proximity Warning Systems:

If you are a user of the grant access permissions which allow a driver or machine controller to allow pedestrians to be within the exclusion zone of their controlled beacons – with the latest firmware upgrade the driver or machine controller will be alerted with a buzz and vibration that a pedestrian is looking for access. With this feature release, it is important to ensure that your beacon is powered up within range of a beacon to receive the latest firmware update. Beacon v1.2.6

Display HAV Exposure as a % of ELV:

A setting within the Reactec Analytics allows an enhanced choice of how to display the real HAV exposure levels on the watch face. Companywide, you can choose to show as:

  • Exposure points
  • Time remaining to reach ELV (or EAV)
  • A percentage of ELV

To make use of this feature, watches must be upgraded to v1.4.10

Operator List Update:

It is now possible within the Administration page for updating operators details to push any changes made down to Gateways. This means the Analytics will push out a new operator list to all gateways which have connectivity to the Reactec Analytics. Avoiding the current need to power-cycle Gateways. For this feature to be available, the Gateways need to be updated to latest firmware Gateway v2.1.6.
