HSE updates guidance on noise regulations

Controlling noise at work (L108): updated edition published

HSE has recently published the third edition of the Controlling Noise at Work (L108) guidance book. Aimed at employers and duty holders, this document includes details of the Control of Noise at Work Regulations, as well as guidance on what they mean, the legal obligations for employers, advice on assessing risk and practical noise controls.

This guide has been updated in keeping with changes to related legislation, technical advances and experience; the emphasis is on the control and management of risks from exposure to noise.
