Reactec Release Notification - May 2023

Reactec continue their roadmap of system improvements and enhancement. Our latest release completed on the 27th of April 2023 includes the following added functionality, or reporting, which we believe may be of benefit to you:

Operator Administration:

With the release of R-Link and the extra proximity warning functionality around being able to identify those responsible for managing vehicles as a hazard, with special privileges, the operator administration page has been completely redesigned. The page is less cluttered and simplified to ease managing all the credentials for each operator whether that be their HAVS exposure limits, noise defender SNR levels (Pambry only), proximity rights to control beacons as a driver or banksman, or lone worker protection from a RASOR.

Device Management:

If you have RASOR devices within your fleet, you can now view which operators have signed out a RASOR device by viewing the new “RASORs signed out” report within the resources tab.

Location Heatmap Improvement:

It is now possible with the R-Link proximity warnings application to sign in and out of a safe-zone using an RFID safe-zone tag. The action of signing into a “safe-zone” by using the R-Link watch to tag onto a safe-zone tag means that you will not be alerted by any R-Link beacons which are on a vehicle or hazard near the safe-zone. Safe-zones are an ideal way to prevent false alerts or false data for employees operating in safe barriered areas where hazards may be close but cannot cross the barrier. Data on beacons close to the safe-zone will still be collated by the R-Link watch and reported in the Reactec Analytics to allow hazard behaviour close to safe areas to be understood.
