Noise doseBadges

Controlling noise at work through data.

The Control of Noise at Work Regulations 2005 (the ‘Noise Regulations’) require you to eliminate or reduce risks to health and safety from noise at work.

At Reactec we have teamed with experienced noise measurement experts to integrate their precision sensor technology into our ecosystem with automatic live data capture and cloud-based analytics to takes the guesswork out of workplace noise monitoring.

Apply Reactec Prevention Engineering thinking with adequate real world data to prioritise efforts to substitute or eliminate the most important risks. Moving out of the territory of guesswork and into the place where real change is effected.

Reactec offer two types of noise dosebadge to enable you to make a reliable, representative estimate of your workers' daily personal exposure.

Choose the Cirrus doseBadge5, with octave band measurements for the ultimate occupational noise measurements in a rugged easy to use form factor.

Choose the lower cost Pambry PED 0828 compact Personal Sound Exposure Meter with real-time feedback to the worker of their accumulated daily exposure.

Both devices can be allocated personally to a worker with the Reactec RASOR to allow data gathered by the devices to be personalised and transmitted to the Reactec Analytics for automatic consolidation and reporting. Gain an unprecedented perspective of workplace risk with Reactec's ability to overlay a range of workplace risk data.

How it works

Reactec offers a range of noise dosebadges that can be integrated with the Reactec eco system to ease record management and reporting of noise measurements and monitoring.

Tough hardware

The Cirrus doseBadge5

A high performance noise dosimeter that allows you to make compliant occupational noise exposure measurements. With real-time octave band measurements this would be the essential choice when looking to characterise a noise environment in order to choose the most appropriate hearing protection.

The doseBadge5 is a shoulder-worn wireless noise dosimeter. It captures all the noise levels a worker is exposed to for the duration of a shift.

  • No cables, dials, controls or displays
  • Completely tamper-proof and easy to use
  • Pre-set start/stop configurable timers
  • Real-time 1:1 octave band filters analyse noise in more detail
  • Secure internal microphone and shock sensor ensures data integrity
  • Review mid-shift readings remotely

The Pambry PED0828 Personal Noise Dose Meter

Another compliant offering to noise standards, the PED0828 is lightweight and well suited to all day every day monitoring.

  • Compact and light design to clip on during the working day
  • Battery time 160 hours / 4 working weeks
  • View instantaneous noise level and total exposure of the day on LCD display
  • Built in or External Microphone
  • Calibrated during manufacture
